What Will the Next Year Bring in Technology?

As we near the end of another year, many professionals are making predictions about the coming year and recapping the highlights of the previous year. Among the ten technology and business trends that will affect businesses and consumers alike in the coming year, one writer predicts a more semantic web.

The Huffington Post brought this topic to our attention in their article, “10 Technology and Business Trends for 2012.” Semantic technologies enable data to be understood across multiple languages and that is quite popular right now.

The predictions also involve social media continuing to be popular, especially among big business, which have been reluctant to jump on board up to now. They can no longer consider social media to be a phase that will pass. It is here to stay.
