The federal government is not much different from other organizations as they are trying for even more efficiency and essentially, more productivity out of IT investments. This is a challenge in any organization, but when you consider the size of government agencies, the volume of data they create and store, and the existing systems that have to conform – it almost seems impossible. This is a perfect opportunity for data virtualization.
