Merger Has Potential To Change Search

Yippy, Inc. has entered into an agreement to merge with MuseGlobal, a leading provider of content integration and data virtualization services. This combination of search and content integration professionals has the potential to provide a range of resources that few if any others (not even big players like Google or Microsoft) possess. The combined companies will create an information cloud that could represent a significant shift in the business of enterprise search.

MuseGlobal announced this interesting news on their site in the release titled, “Yippy, Inc. (YIPI) and MuseGlobal to Merge, Offering Unified Access to a Data Cloud of Curated Content.”

Findability is key for any system in any organization. Without being able to find data quickly and completely, what is the point? This can be achieved by creating strong taxonomies. Proper indexing against a strong standards-based taxonomy increases the findability of data. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies.
