Optum has launched its latest coding technology product, Optum Enterpris CAC. This computer-assisted coding (CAC) platform can help healthcare organizations accelerate their transition to ICD-10, as well as increase productivity and simplify coding and documentation processes.

    It’s nice to see someone recognizes that “Medical coding is something that requires specialized expertise”. It’s going to be an interesting ride figuring out ICD-10 especially for larger companies – hopefully they will recognize the need to lean on their certified medical coders to help. –Kelly
