This interesting information was brought to our attention by Business Wire in their article, “Research and Markets: Semantic Web and Model-Driven Engineering.” The semantic web organizes system knowledge in conceptual domains according to its meaning and addresses various enterprise computing needs by identifying and abstracting commonalities. Though that sounds simple, we all know it isn’t. Without thorough indexing against a solid taxonomy, semantic technology can’t make the connections necessary for true findability.
