Splunk machine data search engine has released a new version that comes with a distributed indexing technology.  This new release can save money for storage. Version 5 can also generate reports faster than its predecessor and that too can help the bottom line.

Splunk can also serve as a tool for business managers to collect and analyze operational intelligence.
