Internet Trends Reveal Some Surprises

For the second year in a row, Mary Meeker, of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, has unveiled her now famed Internet Trends report. This information was found on All Things D in their article, “Mary Meeker’s Internet Trends Report is Back, at D11 (Slides).”

Some anticipated news include the growth of Internet usage and other activities on mobile devices. Mobile users reach for their phone 150 times a day. We were barely understanding the capability of smart phones when tablets landed on the scene. Now the shift is towards wearable technology; there will be no reaching. It will be 24/7. Social media is getting well, more social.

The complete slide set from her presentation at the D11 conference is available to view. It is comprehensive and informative; well worth the time.
