New Partnership Results in Real-Time Analysis

Datawatch Corporation has announced an OEM partnership with Semantic Visions to deliver real-time predictive analysis and visualization of supply chain disruptions on the SAP HANA platform. This came to us from MarketWatch in their article, “Datawatch And Semantic Visions Enable Real-Time Predictive Analysis And Visualization For SAP HANA.”

“With our Datawatch partnership, we now offer the best data visualization software available for real-time predictive analysis of supply chain disruptions,” said Frantisek Vrabel, chief executive officer for Semantic Visions. “Big Data and the accelerating pace of business are placing a premium on the ability to easily access and visually explore vast amounts of supply chain information at any speed, especially real-time. As a Big Data solution based on the SAP HANA platform, we needed a next-generation analytic solution that could visualize vast amounts of information in real-time and Datawatch was the only product that could meet these requirements.”

Semantic Visions’ Vega uses a proprietary semantic web mining system that automatically reads one million articles in 11 languages from 160,000 news sources to identify and predict potential supply chain disruptions caused by any number of possible sources.
