Learning Opportunity Around Open Access

The National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS) is offering a unique learning opportunity before the year’s end. On Monday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. (EST), they will offer the webinar titled, “Document Delivery in the Information Ecosystem.”

The webinar will address issues in the world of scholarly publishing and open access. Scholarly output continues to increase with new journals introduced each year. Access to scholarly content also is on the rise as the number of open access publications and social sharing services continues to increase. At the same time, shrinking library acquisition budgets coupled with increasing journal subscription prices are challenging buyers to do ever more with less.

This NFAIS webinar will examine the role of “Document Delivery in the Information Ecosystem” today and in the future and will cover the value that partnerships between publishers and content aggregators provide their customers for document delivery.
