The 2019 Road Trip Symposium, hosted by the Route 66 Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA), features a keynote address by Stephen Abram, librarian and principal with Lighthouse Consulting Inc., and executive director of the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries.

This year’s theme is “The Library of the Future, or the Future of the Library.” Steve Abram will share his perspective and bring the central aspects of the topic to the forefront. He has written and spoken broadly on the futures topics in the past and is known for his in-depth data-backed statistical presentations.

The busy agenda is full of dynamic and engaging topics. Meeting registration includes meals from dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday. Companion tickets are available if you want to bring friends or family for the social events (dinner Friday, dinner Saturday at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and lunch Sunday).

The 2019 Road Trip Symposium will take place in August 9 – 11, 2019, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. View the agenda and register here.
