For those in the library sciences profession, education is important. This topic came to us from The Morning Call in their article, “Kutztown’s online masters programs in library science ranked and other company news.”

Kutztown University (KU) in Pennsylvania ranked fourth among Online Schools Report best online Library Science master’s programs in the nation. Library science is the field of study that teaches how to manage books and other information, particularly through collecting, preserving, and organizing books and other materials in libraries.

Online education has enabled students to reach out to top schools without relocating. It also enables adult students to improve their education while still continuing to work.

KU Library Science programs expand career opportunities for its graduates, preparing them to transform their knowledge into creative possibilities. Beyond librarian placements, a Master in Library Science can prepare students for other careers such as media specialist, metadata specialist, technical services specialist, digital collections, genealogy research, and curator.
