Michigan residents can now access hard-to-find resources by using a new Central Michigan 211 Information Referral. Answering questions regarding area human services now requires less staff time because of the comprehensive taxonomy used to operate the call center.
February 10, 2011 – According to the USA.gov for Science site, “THOMAS Has Been Added to the Basic Search!”. This newest addition to the Science.gov database provides legislative information from the Library of Congress. Legislation from both the 112th Congress (2011-2012) and the 111th Congress (2009-2010) is available.
This week I am attending the Data Harmony Users Group Meeting in Albuquerque. Though the weather has been disappointing (snow in the desert?), the amount and quality of information has not been in the least.
