Marjorie (Margie) M.K. Hlava, president of Albuquerque-based Access Innovations, Inc., has been selected to receive the prestigious Miles Conrad Award from the National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS). The award will be presented at the upcoming 2014 NFAIS Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA, February 23-25, 2014. ISKO (the International Society for Knowledge Organization) has made its free online bibliographic service, Knowledge Organization Literature, even more comprehensive. This recent enhancement will cover nine more years back in bibliographical references. Covering the years from 1988 to the present, the Knowledge Organization Literature database continues to be updated with recent literature.

It has been awhile since I shared a unique taxonomy with you and this one certainly caught my eye, for many reasons. My mother and sister are notorious for doing anything to save a dollar. I am quite often convinced they spend more trying to save than they save, but I wouldn't dare say that to them.
