New Document Management Product Integrates Business Processes Into Machines

January 13, 2011 – Webiplex has released the DocuPeak Connector for Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs. The DocuPeak Connector allows for the scanning and indexing of documents right from the Sharp OSA-enabled MFP panel, with the data sent directly to a DocuPeak application portal.

American Consumer News brought this information to our attention in their release, ‘Webiplex Releases DocuPeak Connector for Seamless Integration with Sharp OSA-Enabled MFPs.” With the connector, scanned documents can be fully indexed on the MFP panel itself. In addition, administrators can setup custom, one-button-click business processes to pre-fill common indexing parameters.

Leveraging Web technologies so business processes can be integrated into business machines is an interesting achievement.
