Parts Locator Goes High Tech

A new website has been launched to assist drivers, dealers, and repair shops to locate parts. With FinditParts.com, products from more than 800 manufacturers and OEMs are available.

We found this applicable topic on Fleet Owner in their article, “New website carries over a million truck parts.” By searching the site, visitors can locate that elusive needed part with only a part number or manufacturer. Additional features include a live chat parts specialist who can assist in locating the needed item.

David Seewack, CEO of FinditParts, notes that “Finding parts is challenging for a whole host of reasons—there is no standard taxonomy for organizing them and searching by make, model and year is simply not an option.”

FinditParts does provide the site visitor with a Browse by Category feature that includes a true taxonomy. Maybe that is why the website has been so popular.
