MetaVis Information Manager Makes SharePoint 2010 Information Findable

MetaVis Information Manager for SharePoint 2010 has been released. It lets users bulk import, copy, and classify content directly from the SharePoint user interface. This is a easy process for users, as Information Manager is embedded directly into the SharePoint 2010 ribbon. Now classifying, uploading, and copying is easy and familiar since SharePoint users can even copy between different SharePoint sites, lists, libraries and File Shares.

Information Manager allows a previously underutilized feature to be used seamless and easy. Most importantly, it makes information searchable. We found this interesting piece of news on Windows IT Pro in their article, “New and Improved: MetaVis Information Manager, TITUS Classification for Microsoft Office, Policy Patrol Archiver, and More.”

Finding your data is important. Access Innovations is one of a very small number of companies able to help its clients generate ANSI/ISO/W3C-compliant taxonomies to make their information findable.
