Pandora Continues to Grow in Use and Favor

Edison Research has released audience analysis that showcases ratings for Pandora Internet radio, and they show that listeners are tuning in to Pandora personalized radio more and more.

Sys-Con Media brought this news to our attention in their article, “July Ratings for Pandora Radio Show Significant Presence in Top Local Markets.” Edison Research examined how many listeners tuned in to Pandora and how long each person listened, and then converted that data into metrics. In order to qualify as a listener, a person had to listen for at least five minutes within a quarter hour period.

The hand-built musical taxonomy powers the personalized radio experience of Pandora. Because people can use it to hear the music they love, discover new music and do this anytime, anywhere, it has become a hot bed for advertisers.
