European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) has launched a guide that classifies Public and Private Partnerships (PPP) into prevention focused, response focused and umbrella PPPs. The 36 recommendations for resilient IT security outlines the need for a common understanding of what constitutes a PPP.

The new guide covers issues like why a PPP should be created; who should be involved; how a PPP should be governed; what services and incentives should be offered and when a PPP should be created; and other timing questions. The guide consolidates and validates a PPP-taxonomy which seems like an obvious choice to us.

We found this interesting information on Computer Business Review in their article, “EU cyber security agency publishes guide on IT security for PPPs.”
