Attivio has released Active Intelligence Engine (AIE) Extreme (XT) Modules for big data. Another product designed to provide customers with greater access and insight into the massive amounts of data produced by organizations.

This new release deploys advanced text analytics, such as entity extraction, key phrase detection, ontology support and sentiment analysis to discover vital business signals from unstructured content. Documents, e-mails, SharePoint, Web content, surveys and call logs can prove to be the most challenging, especially when there is no strong foundation of a standards-based taxonomy to support the indexing. A solid taxonomy is needed to ensure the machine-assisted or fully automated indexing is comprehensive, regardless of what you are indexing.
