“We’re thrilled to have someone of John’s caliber heading this effort,” says Marjorie M.K. Hlava, co-founder (along with Kuranz) of Access Integrity. “This technology transfer from electronic publishing to medical claims compliance using ICD Tagger institutes a disruptive innovation within a new industry. The rule-based approach with very high accuracy ensures productive, efficient, and cost-effective coding assistance throughout the medical billing and transaction sphere.”

In this role, Kuranz was instrumental in positioning the company as a leader in providing knowledge-based solutions to the information and publishing industry.
“I’m excited and motivated with business start-ups such as Access Integrity,” says Kuranz. “Each new business endeavor provides a unique set of challenges, but Access Integrity is a unique start-up in that it applies the time-tested technology of Data Harmony to an emerging industry in the medical coding and billing realm.”
