For the second year, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has invited Access Innovations to hold the third Data Harmony Users Group East (DHUGE) meeting at their Washington, DC headquarters. AAAS looks to continue highlighting the synergy between the two organizations while showcasing how this collaboration is furthering the mission of AAAS and learning ways in which other organizations utilize the software and services of Access Innovations. DHUGE 2019 will take place on November 8, 2019.

DHUGE is an extension of Access Innovations’ two-day DHUG conference that takes place every February in Albuquerque, NM.

The agenda will feature a keynote talk by Travis Hicks of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), along with Data Harmony users presenting case studies on how they use Access Innovations’ award winning Data Harmony software. The conference will also feature breakout sessions in which attendees can discuss the problems they currently face with semantics, indexing, and information discovery.

“The DHUG East 2019 meeting is one day event packed with excellent case studies on semantic solutions, controlled vocabularies, and content solutions,” explained Heather Kotula, VP of Marketing and Communications for Access Innovations. “It’s important to understand how our customers use Data Harmony and what challenges they face with their knowledge base. It gives us a great opportunity to help them overcome those challenges by working with us to find new ways to meet their needs, which allows us to improve our solutions in the future.”

“DHUG East is the perfect opportunity to interact with our clients,” Jay Ven Eman, CEO of Access Innovations, continued, “By understanding their struggles with their content, we are able to help tailor the business case to take to their stakeholders.”

DHUG East 2019 is open to current and prospective clients. Access Innovations invites readers to visit their website to learn more about Data Harmony and to register for DHUG East 2019.
