SeeUnity is Taking Advantage of SharePoint 2010’s Improvements

June 23, 2010 – SeeUnity’s Business Connectivity Services (BCS) connector is one of the company’s out-of-the-box modules that can help integrate SharePoint 2010 with enterprise content management (ECM) platforms.

TMCnet.com shared news of this release in their article, “SeeUnity Debuts BCS Connector for Microsoft SharePoint 2010”. SeeUnity has been using BCS to enhance searching external repositories and is able to offer BCS support immediately. This could serve to be a key addition to content-integration strategies for SharePoint 2010 customers. Users will be able to more effectively search external ECM repositories from SharePoint, as well as the equally new FAST for SharePoint, using the BCS. This connector enables SharePoint to index and query from one to many external ECM platforms and other external repositories. BCS support can help customers see improved search performance and flexibility in many key areas.
